Atelier Nicolas Cerrutti UG was founded in Berlin in 2023 by Nicolas Cerrutti, a designer born in Montevideo with Italian roots. His work blends artistry, craftsmanship, and understated luxury, infused with a youthful energy. Nicolas’ journey into fashion began with his training as a tailor in Berlin, where he developed a deep appreciation for garment construction. He later refined his creative vision while studying fashion design at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute) at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, where ANC Berlin took shape. Growing up in a family deeply immersed in art, music, and dance, Nicolas was surrounded by creativity. His mother, a former model, poet, and dancer, introduced him to artistic expression from an early age. Coming from a family of musicians, instrumentalists, and dancers, creativity was an integral part of his upbringing. His affinity for metalwork and jewelry plays a key role in his designs, integrating sculptural elements into fashion. The brand’s debut collection, 'Mirage', was inspired by a transformative journey to Morocco in 2019. Paying homage to the desert and Bedouin culture, the collection reflects ANC’s commitment to cultural fusion and self-expression. Atelier Nicolas Cerrutti UG is dedicated to timeless craftsmanship, creating non-seasonal pieces that merge traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from architecture, travel, and pottery, the brand embodies a lifestyle of elegance, artistry, and cultural appreciation.
